Abstract:
The selection of an optimal Electric Vehicle Charging Station (EVCS) improves user experience, decrease costs and emissions, and contribute to sustainable urban mobility and energy efficiency. In solving this optimization problems, the application of decision support methods has an important role. This study focuses on the problem of selecting the best EVCS by analyzing real data from five stations in a specific area in Nis, Serbia. The most optimal station was chosen based on eight factors divided into two categories: benefit and cost. Their weights were determined using the Shannon Entropy objective approach. The PROMETHEE II approach was used to complete the ranking process.
