How to distinguish between record types

Abstract

Let G be a probability distribution having one of three possible record types. Suppose the values of distribution G on set S are known. We give the criterion to determine the record type of G from its values on set S and also the minimal cardinality that S must have in order that there is only one distribution of record type taking given values on S.
