Abstract:
The paper presents analytical results and some visualizations of the non-linear dynamics of a vibroimpact system with one degree of freedom and moving impact limiters. Mechanical energy of a heavy mass particle oscillation along a rough circle in vertical plane is object of this analytical research. The corresponding ordinary non-linear differential equations of dynamic equilibrium states and phase trajectory branches are derived. A corresponding control of the impact limiters is presented as a program of the impact conditions of the system, and analytical and graphical analyses of the kinetic, potential and total mechanical energy of the corresponding vibro-impact system, and the friction force power as well are given, finally a visualization of the vibro-impact oscillations is presented. © Freund Publishing House Ltd.
