In this paper ΔM (Delta Modulation) system for speech signal coding, with forward-adaptive quantizer is presented. The first and the second order linear predictors are used in the proposed ΔM system solution. The speech signal coding quality parameters SQNR (Signal to Quantization Noise Ratio) and Gp (Prediction Gain) are given as functions of the first and the second order correlation coefficients and of the input signal. The obtained experimental values of parameters SQNR and Gp presented both are compared with corresponding theoretical values for the given system. In this way the selection of optimal ΔM system correlation coefficients values is conducted.
