dc.description.abstractThis talk points out to certain approaches for developing blockchain consensus protocols with reduced energy consumption and security enhancement of lightweight encryption schemes. We discuss blockchain consensus puzzle solvable employing time-memory trade off technique for inverting one-way cryptographic functions. The addressed security enhancement of encryption is based on employment certain results from coding and information theory. Some applications of the considered techniques are pointed out as well.en_US
