Abstract:
In today's time when success is measured in the amount of applied knowledge, the concept of lifelong learning is increasingly discussed, as well as the "Lifelong-education". We live in a world of technological innovation, and the acquisition of knowledge has never been more accessible. New information technologies allow us to constantly improve our knowledge and it becomes a way of life. The concept of lifelong education tends to transform contemporary society into a knowledge society - a society based on knowledge, ie learning society. Man as the central unit of the society becomes, because of the constant knowledge improvement, happier, more fulfilled, more skilled, and more helpful member of the community. At the same time, the society becomes richer, more stable and turns into a welfare society.
