Abstract:
Increasing reliability and assessing remaining life of the switchgear is one of the most important tasks in order to ensure proper work of a power system. Replacement of the most critical circuit breakers represents a good basis for increasing the reliability of the energy system. This paper proposes a model for determining optimal time for replacement of existing circuit breakers using Bayesian networks based on interval probabilities.
