Spectral moments of fullerene graphs

Abstract

Let G be a fullerene on n vertices having width w. We prove that the k-th spectral moment of G depends only on n, w and k for k ≤ 2w + 6 and its value is denoted by W(n, w, k). We study the properties of the function W(n, w, k) and derive some bounds for the width w in terms of eigenvalues of G.
